Common ground land trust is an organization that works to protect land for public recreation and uses.Back during the jeep days they were willing to work with the jeep clubs to preserve thier ever closing lands. Given the light impact of the snowmobiles they are a strong asset to the snowmobile population. My mother hails from numerous land preservation org's, one of which she is close with being the common ground land trust. I would like to start to consider holding an annual fundraiser for this org. Primarily to aid in off season gating, and protecting the land before it continues to diminish. They are very active and growing with power. Best part is they are willing to work with virtually any outdoors sport enthusiast to ensure they always have a place to enjoy their sport.
